Wellbeing for all using blue spaces.
“People who spend at least 2 hours a week in nature are significantly more likely to report being in good health and feeling satisfied with their lives than those who spend little or no time outside in green spaces.”
From a report published by University of Exeter, June 2019
Our purpose is to strengthen wellbeing within communities, widen access to nature and create opportunities for excluded citizens.
Our mission is to deliver swim based based wellbeing activities across Bristol to increase nature connectedness in blue spaces that improves mental health and reduces social isolation.
“I’ve always wanted to try wild swimming, through Open Minds I have experienced some beautiful swims right on my doorstep. I’ve gained confidence, improved my swimming, and made new friends.”
