We are looking for a Programme Manager to work across our Nature Agency Consortia.

The Nature Agency Consortia - Background
We have partnered with Soul Trail Wellbeing CIC and Active Being Ltd, to provide nature-based interventions that improve mental health and wellbeing across Inner City, Central and East Bristol over the next 2.5 years. This exciting new role will be key in shaping the brand new nature agency consortia and expanding inclusion and diversity in outdoor activities that support wellbeing and mental health.

Outline of Role
The ideal candidate will work closely with directors from various consortia organisations to coordinate, deliver, and review programmes, whilst managing relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders. They will ensure smooth service delivery by streamlining processes, overseeing programme monitoring and evaluation, and demonstrating the consortia's social impact. This role requires adaptability as duties evolve, and involves collaboration with team members to run community support initiatives. Strong project management and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of diversity, inclusion, and the mental health benefits of physical activity, are essential. The candidate must handle a varied workload, demonstrate leadership, and have a passion for the outdoors.

Place of work
You will be required to travel in and around Bristol, and South Glos to various green and blue spaces on a regular basis. You will have the flexibility for you to work from home, so you will need a suitable working space with access to the internet. Open Minds Active will provide a laptop and mobile phone for the purposes of fulfilling your role only.

Further details
Salary: £30,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Contract: 2-year fixed term, 3 Days a week (0.6FTE) start date: November 2024.
