Wetsuit cleaner

We have so much kit to clean at Open Minds Active and most of our team are in the water with clients 4-5 times a week especially during the warmer months. Our ethos is very much about protecting the environment and we try to source all our products, however small organically and ethically.

Tri Wetsuit Hire recently introduced us to Coco Loco wetsuit cleaner that deodorises all neoprene such as your wetsuit, wetsuit boots, gloves, vests & hoods and helps increase the lifespan of your kit. 

It also removes salt, chlorine & organic residues from neoprene. This is really important if you’re swimming in different bodies of water especially rivers or seas as it helps prevent cross-contamination and therefore protects the biodiversity.

We use it on all our neoprene, its super safe with no nasties in it and even contains live cultures that break down odour producing bacteria, leaving kit smelling nice and fresh.

Just put a small capful into a large bucket of water and leave your kit in for 5 minutes. Hey presto - no more stinky neoprene smells!
